Applications for pasta and rice

There are several tests for pasta and rice using TVT-300XP. These can be used to predict the perception of the pasta and rice of the consumer, to evaluate a change in the recipe and to determine the stability during transportation for example.

Cylinder probe
Can be used to determine the firmness and stickiness of pasta.
Knife blade
Can be used to measure the cutting force and firmness of the pasta. A device with multiply knifes can be used for firmness determination of pasta with different shapes, e.g. macaroni. A small blade is used for the standard method AACC 66-50.
Three point bend rig
Can be used to determine the fracturability and flexibility.
Self-tightening roller grip Parallel clamps
Tensile rig / Hold rig
Can be used to measure the tensile strength.
